Take the Carretera Transversal (Av. Benito Juárez) heading east across the island. Continue past the San Gervasio visitor center; the park is signposted at kilometer 12, on the right-hand side. a la altura del kilómetro 12.
By public transport

Ask the driver to take you directly to Kanan Park by Tripping Coolen at Km 12 of the Transversal. There is a set fare from the town center and the docks.

- Step 1: Ferry Crossing: Board the passenger ferry at the Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal. The journey takes approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
- Step 2: Arrival Point: Direct arrival at the Cozumel Main Pier (in downtown San Miguel de Cozumel).
- Step 3: Transfer to the Park: Immediately upon leaving the pier, head to the official taxi stand and board a taxi, requesting a trip to Kanan Park at Km 12 of the Transversal Highway (a 15-minute drive).

The park does not have its own mass public transport route, but shared or private transfer services can be arranged through authorized Tripping Cool agencies when booking your excursion package. Alternatively, island taxis provide hassle-free round-trip transportation.

The fastest way is to take a taxi from the town center or drive a rental car or motorcycle directly along the Transversal Highway heading east. The park is located on the right side of the road at Kilometer 12, just 15 minutes from the ferry terminal.
