We had an amazing time! We took a carnival cruise and wanted to do something different for Cozumel. They didnt disappoint, our tour kind was named Juan and he was the best. Gave you a brief history of the city we drove through (30 mins inland). The cenote we really enjoyed it was beautiful. The water was a little chilly but refreshing. The only issue we had is we explored a little further than most would and then the lifeguard informed us that there were bees and that we could proceed if we chose so. In which we did as it was so beautiful. Bees were friendly to us. They also offer small bites. I’m a Mexican food snob and it was one of the best tacos I have had! We then took another short ride to the resort. The beaches were great, entrance into the water was a little sketchy but works. Got included snorkel gear to see amazing fish. Food at the resort was ehh, and the free drinks were small however VERY GOOD! Our only issue with the resort was the vendors as they were a little pushy. Some of them were great! The tequila tasting that was hosted by Paco was very enlighten full. Overall would recommend

“Kanan Park by Tripping Cool Amazing Cenote, Questionable Chow” Came out to Kanan Park by Tripping Cool expecting a solid jungle experience, and to be fair, parts of it absolutely delivered. The cenote alone is worth the trip. Clear water, incredible setting, one of those places where you stop for a second and think, “yeah, this is why I came.” Easily the highlight and legitimately impressive. The tour staff were also squared away. Knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly knew what they were talking about. They kept things moving, explained the area well, and made sure everyone stayed on track without turning it into a cattle drive. No complaints there. Then came the food. Look, expectations were not high. This is not a five star restaurant in the jungle. But what showed up felt like it had been prepped sometime during the previous administration. The tortillas tasted like they had been made days ago, maybe a week. Dry, stiff, and just holding on to existence. And the salsa. I do not know what that was, but it was not salsa. It had the consistency and flavor of tomato paste that had lost the will to live. Honestly, straight tomato paste might have been an upgrade. They gave us a tablespoon per person, so naturally I asked for more. That is when I realized I had encountered the Salsa Nazi. Immediate denial. No hesitation. No negotiation. No salsa for me. So now you are sitting there with dry tortillas, and a rationed portion of sadness pretending to be salsa. It turns into a survival exercise more than a meal. Overall, the place is worth going for the cenote and the experience. Just do yourself a favor and eat before you go or plan to eat after. Pros Incredible cenote Solid, knowledgeable tour staff Great overall experience Cons Food that feels like an afterthought Tortillas with a questionable timeline Salsa that may or may not qualify as salsa, but could pass for ketchup. Final Verdict Amazing natural experience, good tour crew, but the food needs serious help. Bring snacks or low expectations, very low expectations.

This was one of my favorite experiences ever! The staff was excellent. The water was beautiful. Even the surroundings built up by man were beautiful. We were given fruit/veggies on our excursion and it was delicious! The bathrooms are clean and very nice. I would highly recommend this excursion and park!

We loved it. Very relaxing floating around and Edwin was an excellent guide. Can't wait to see what they add.
